Two-vehicle collision

Beverly Moravecz, 81, Hollsopple, sustained suspected minor injuries when she turned left on Somerset Pike south of Gilbert Hollow Road in Jenner Township into the path of a vehicle driven by Calvin Anderson, 76, Johnstown, who was not hurt Monday afternoon, according to state police.

Following the impact, his vehicle was pushed into the driver’s side of a legally parked vehicle, a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado, police said.

Moravecz was transported to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown by Jennerstown EMS. Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the accident.

Televisions stolen

State police are investigating the theft of two televisions and a sound system from a residence along Grandview Avenue in Rockwood Borough.

The theft occurred between 2:30 and 3:15 in the morning on Dec. 21. The victim is Perry Kenneth Stennett, according to state police.
