HARRISBURG — Pennsylvania voters have a lot of races to settle in the primary election, including picking Republican challengers to Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf and U.S. Sen. Bob Casey. Spending in the hotly contested gubernatorial primary has passed $20 million and is Tuesday’s marquee race. — CRASH-POLICE DOG INJURED — A crash involving a Pennsylvania police vehicle has left a police dog injured.

— GUARDSMAN SENTENCED — A former officer in the Pennsylvania National Guard has been sentenced to prison for soliciting sex from a person he believed to be a 14-year-old girl.

— AIRPORT-LOADED HANDGUN — A Pennsylvania man has been arrested at an airport in Maryland after a loaded handgun was found in his carry-on bag.

— SERIAL BURGLARY-SENTENCE — A man already imprisoned in Maryland for burglary and robbery has been sentenced to up to 46 years in prison for a dozen break-ins in Pennsylvania.
