Cannabis candy, pot, recovered on King Street: cops

GREENWICH — A Greenwich man was charged with possession of cannabis-related materials Monday night.

An off-duty police officers smelled burning marijuana around 9 p.m. on lower King Street, according to the arrest report. Police stopped a car being driven by John Zeeve, 54, of Glenville Road.

Inside the vehicle, officers found more than a half-ounce of marijuana, edible marijuana in the form of candy and vials of THC oil, the potent extract from marijuana, according to the arrest report. Rolling papers were also found.

Zeeve was charged with criminal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released without bail.
