Clippers Sign Four Free Agents
LOS ANGELES (AP) _ The Los Angeles Clippers signed free agents Rick Brunson, Terence Morris, Marcus Fleming and Jerry Holman on Thursday.
The team opens training camp Tuesday in Santa Barbara.
Brunson, a guard, averaged 3.0 points and 2.1 assists in 40 games with Chicago and Toronto last season.
Morris spent last season with Columbus of the NBDL. The forward averaged 10.1 points and 6.4 rebounds in seven games for the Clippers in the Summer Pro League.
Morris was drafted by Atlanta in 2001 and played for Houston during the 2002-03 season.
Fleming played with the NBDL’s Huntsville team and the USBL’s Pennsylvania team last season. Holman, a forward-center, also played with Pennsylvania of the USBL, averaging 8.8 points and 6.7 rebounds. He played six games for Phoenix’s entry in the Rocky Mountain Revue summer league.
