Drama Critic Wins Elkhorn Stakes

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) _ Drama Critic beat Craigsteel by a neck Wednesday in the $112,500 Grade III Elkhorn Stakes at Keeneland.

Drama Critic, ridden by Jerry Bailey, ran 1 1/2 miles on the turf course in 2:28 and paid $10, $5 and $4.20. Craigsteel returned $4.80 and $4, and Dixie’s Crown paid $4.40 to show.

Drama Critic, the 4-year-old son of Theatrical, earned $69,750 for Amerman Racing Stables. He improved his record to 9-4-2-1 with the career earnings of $149,460.
