Moore Now Bengal Intern Coach

April 12, 2000

CINCINNATI (AP) _ Cincinnati Bengals safety Kelvin Moore, who sustained a career-threatening neck injury in a preseason game last year, was hired as a coaching intern Wednesday.

Moore is still unable to play because he broke a vertebra while making a tackle during a game at Detroit Aug. 20.

During his recuperation, Moore has been helping to coach at Hamilton High School in Los Angeles and at Santa Monica Junior College, where he played.
