Odell Beckham Jr. throws touchdown pass on trick play
Hours after ESPN aired an interview in which he threw his quarterback under the bus, Odell Beckham Jr. went out and threw the New York Giants’ first touchdown pass of the day himself.
Beckham caught a backwards pass from Eli Manning, dropped two steps back and tossed it to a wide-open Saquon Barkley in the second quarter of the Giants’ game against the Carolina Panthers.

Beckham has been critical of the Giants’ play-calling and quarterback play. Speaking to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, Beckham criticized Eli Manning’s inability to run out of the pocket and added,“How come we can’t throw the ball for more than 20 yards? How come we don’t attempt or try to throw the ball for more than 20 yards?”
Beckham’s touchdown throw to Saquon Barkley, for those keeping score, traveled 57 yards.
