Alumni brothers give $3M to West Chester U’s School of Music; it’s largest gift in school’s history

West Chester University has received a $3 million gift, the largest in the school’s history, for its School of Music, the school announced Friday.

James Wells ’54 and Richard Wells ’58, two alumni brothers of Chester County, created the landmark endowment that will go towards ensemble performance travel, instruments, music education programs, and student scholarships, to name a few.
