Kirk Cousins, Joe Flacco and more NFL players thank vets on Veterans Day

November 11, 2018

The NFL has upped the ante on this Veterans Day.

The league is donating $5 to military and veterans’ causes for every use of the hashtag #SalutetoService on Twitter between Nov. 2 and Nov. 19. Tweets and retweets both count.

On Sunday, the league raised its donation level to $25 per use for the day.

Former Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco and other NFL players past and present took advantage of the opportunity to thank veterans for serving and drawing attention to the donation opportunity.
