’80s rock band, country singers to perform at North Augusta’s Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee
This year’s Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee in North Augusta will be two nights of country music and ’80s rock band.
The festival will be Oct. 26 and 27. On Friday night, country artists Diamond Rio and Mark Chesnutt will take the stage. On Saturday night, Loverboy will play.
Mark Chesnutt is a country singer who has had 14 No. 1 hits, 23 top 10 singles, four platinum albums and five gold records, according to his website.
Diamond Rio has been together for more than 25 years and has had five multi-week No. 1 singles, 22 top 10 singles and zero band member changes, according to their website.
Loverboy is an ’80s rock band, well known for their hit “Working for the Weekend.”
This year will be the 34th annual Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee in downtown North Augusta along Georgia Avenue. The festival will be Friday night from 6 to 10 p.m.; Saturday will be an all-day festival from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Along with music, the Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee features food, rides and vendors. Around 12,000 people showed up at last year’s Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee.
In the past, the Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee has featured artists of many genres, including the Gin Blossoms and the Charlie Daniels Band.
