NEW YORK (AP) _ Jennifer Love Hewitt has come a long way in her career _ from a pig barn to prime time and the big screen.

Hewitt made her performing debut at age six in her native Texas.

``At a livestock show in the pig barn, I sang Whitney Houston's `The Greatest Love of All,' and there was a talent scout there,'' the star of Fox's ``Party of Five'' told Movieline magazine in its March issue.

By age 10, she and her mom were in Hollywood for good. Barbie commercials paved the way for bigger things until she was cast in ``Party of Five.'' The 19-year-old is now shooting a sequel to last year's ``I Know What You Did Last Summer.''

But wasn't she killed at the end of the original?

``No, I'll be back,'' she said, despite her involvement in a gory final scene. ``I'll be in pain, because that thing hurt, I gotta tell ya. But I shall scream again.''
