Photos: Heart Screenings, CPR Training Held In Memory Of King’s Student
Heart screenings were held Saturday during a health event at King’s on the Square in Wilkes-Barre. All participants received a vital check and electrocardiogram free of charge. For students whose results indicate the need for additional testing, echocardiograms were also provided on-site free of charge. CPR and AED training was also held at the event. The event was sponsored by The Peyton Walker Foundation, King’s College, Geisinger and District II of the PIAA. The Peyton Walker Foundation was established in memory of Peyton Walker, a King’s College student who died from sudden cardiac arrest in 2013.
