MMH Idaho PREPAREdness Expo held at Rigby High School on Saturday
RIGBY - The Madison Memorial Hospital held its annual PREPAREdness Expo at Rigby High School on Saturday.
An estimated 1,500 people attended.
About 50 vendors from throughout the region, and, as far away as Salt Lake City, attended the expo.
Officials offered several new events such as the fishing pond to help children learn how to fish and the “Escape Rooms” instructing visitors on how to escape dangerous situations like a shooting.
Of note, one group offered emergency child birthing items for expectant mothers far away from their doctor or a hospital.
Expo organizers hope the event inspires visitors to prepare for an emergency, and to know what to do should they find themselves in the middle of one.
