Lynn man arrested in connection with Revere shooting deaths
REVERE, Mass. (AP) — A Lynn man has been arrested in connection with a triple shooting in Revere that left a man and a woman dead.
Michael DeLeon was arrested Friday in Quincy. The Suffolk District Attorney’s office says the 36-year-old suspect is set to be arraigned Monday on two counts of murder.
It was not known Friday evening if he’s represented by a lawyer. No information about a possible motive was immediately available.
Suffolk District Attorney spokesman Jake Wark said the shootings occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Witnesses said they heard four or five gunshots.
The deceased victims were identified as 66-year-old Peter Pitari and 35-year-old Christy Johnson. A 38-year-old unidentified man was seriously injured and is expected to survive.
WCVB reports that police say Johnson was the injured man’s girlfriend.
