Stanton man’s case bound to district court
STANTON — A 24-year-old Stanton man waived a preliminary hearing on a manslaughter charge Tuesday in Stanton County Court.
Tucker Lanz waived his hearing and was bound over to Stanton County District Court and will appear next month, said Stanton County officials.
Lanz was required to post a $25,000 bond before leaving the courthouse. Lanz was arrested by the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office back in May following a fatal accident southeast of Stanton that claimed the life of Hunter Hetzler.
Lanz was reportedly driving a BMW that left a country road east of Stanton and rolled, causing the death of Hetzler on May 12.
