KENTUCKY GOVERNOR’S RACE

LOUISVILLE, Ky. _ Kentucky Democrat Adam Edelen is offering a plan to decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana for personal use. The gubernatorial hopeful’s plan stops short of fully legalizing marijuana. The former state auditor has scheduled media events in Louisville and Lexington on Monday to announce details of his plan. DISASTER ASSISTANCE, from PAINTSVILLE, Ky. _ Low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration are available for Kentucky businesses and residents affected by storms this year.

SOLDIERS-DEPLOYMENT, from FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. _ Dozens of soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division are deploying to Ukraine this month for a scheduled nine month tour.
