IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) _ Cuonzo Martin scored 25 points and reserve Todd Foster scored Purdue's final three points on free throws to lift the Boilermakers over 19th-ranked Iowa 84-83 on Saturday.

Justin Jennings, in his first start, scored 17 points and Roy Hairston 12 for Purdue (11-5, 2-2 Big Ten), which blew an 18-point first-half lead. Andre Woolridge scored 22 points, Chris Kingsbury had 19, Jim Bartels 16 and Kenyon Murray 13 for Iowa (11-5, 1-3), which lost its third straight game in the final seconds.

The Hawkeyes played without leading scorer Jess Settles (19.2 points per game), who was sidelined by a sore back.

Iowa's 83-79 lead shrunk to 83-81 after a jumper by Chad Austin with 27 seconds to play. After an Iowa timeout, Woolridge was called for charging against Foster. Foster, who has sunk six of eight from the free throw line this season while averaging only 11 minutes a game, sank two shots to tie the game with 13.9 seconds remaining.

Iowa inbounded the ball but Woolridge was called for walking with 3.6 seconds left. Martin fired a pass to Foster at midcourt, and Ryan Bowen was called for a foul as he went for the steal. Foster sank the front end of a 1-and-1.

Woolridge missed a shot from just inside the halfcourt line at the buzzer.

Trailing 50-37 at intermission, Iowa went on a 19-4 run early in the second half to take a 59-58 lead with 11:37 remaining. Neither team led by more than three points after that.
