Police: Dealer, Daughter Shot by Disgruntled Customer
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) _ A disgruntled customer opened fire at a used-car dealership, severely wounding the owner and killing his daughter, police said.
Eza Harold Stow, 51, of Atlantic Beach, was in critical condition Thursday with a head wound. His daughter, Monique, was shot several times and died at a hospital.
Police Sgt. Gus Carlson said Stow was able to tell police that he had been shot by an angry customer on Wednesday evening.
The owner of a nearby auto transmission shop told police he heard several gunshots and saw Stow stagger outside, Carlson said.
Stow, a veteran car salesman, has lots in four locations.
