LODDEKOPINGE, Sweden (AP) _ Adam Scott of Australia closed with a 3-under 69 Sunday to win the Scandinavian Masters by two shots for his first title of 2003.

Scott finished at 11-under 277 on the Barseback course that will host next month's Solheim Cup.

Nick Dougherty of England birdied the last hole to claim second place. Robert Karlsson, Andrew Coltart and Luke Donald tied for third at 8 under.

Scott, who missed the cut at his previous three tournaments, won $364,450 and just about clinched a spot for the Presidents' Cup team that will face the United States in South Africa in November.

He took the lead for good with birdies at Nos. 11 and 12.
