He said County Highway F, near Wisconsin Dells, has been shut down due to a bridge and that washed out and County Highway H is closed due to a damaged culvert. He said numerous trees were reported as down, but no other damage has been reported.

Additional alerts were issued at along Highway 33 in Sauk County at Springer Road, north of La Valle, and north of Twin Pine Road earlier in the day. Additional road closings have been issued for Juneau County on Wisconsin 58 both northbound and southbound from Mauston to La Valle due to water over the roadway. Additional road closures have been reported in Vernon and Ozaukee County due to flooding.

Jelinek said people in the areas that received the heaviest rain should avoid driving if possible due to hazardous road conditions. If travel is necessary, drivers should find an additional route via the state traffic operations center at 511wi.gov. He said additional alerts will be issued on the county’s Nixle Information System.
