Hartford man died in motorcycle crash
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut State Police say a 31-year-old motorcycle operator has died in an early morning crash.
Police say Julio Rodriguez, of Hartford, was heading north just after 1 a.m. Tuesday on Route 15 on the Wethersfield-Hartford line when he lost control of his bike and struck the metal guard rail on the right shoulder. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another motorcycle rider also hit the guard rail but suffered only minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
A section of Route 15 north was closed during the investigation but reopened at around 6:30 a.m.
The remains under investigation.
