Water exercise is a fun way to boost your cardiovascular health and strength. It is also a great way to work on flexibility. The water’s buoyancy and resistance allow you to exercise in a low-impact environment. Water exercise can be an excellent form of exercise for individuals who have back pain, arthritis and diabetes. Because of their low-impact format, water aerobics classes are suitable for every age and fitness level, from beginning exercisers through elite athletes, swimmers and non-swimmers alike. Classes are held in La Crescent’s beautiful, state-of-the-art aquatic center.

Instructor Christine Smolek offers classes on Monday and Thursday evenings at 5:45 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 6:30 a.m.
