FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — It’s draft day for the New England Patriots cheerleaders.
Auditions are being held Saturday at the John J. Ahern Middle School in Foxborough for candidates hoping to join the 2015 squad to cheer on the defending Super Bowl champions.
Organizers say hopefuls will be taught choreographed dance routines and be given an opportunity to perform a freestyle combination. They’ll be judged on dance ability, showmanship and physical fitness.
Judges will narrow the field to 40-plus participants who will be invited back for final auditions on March 14.
