Union Township cleanup set for Saturday

CHESAPEAKE, Ohio — Union Township’s semi-annual cleanup day will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. — or until trash receptacles are full — Saturday, May 4, at the township lot on Coryville Road in Chesapeake.

Union Township residents can take this opportunity to clean up the township. Items that are not being accepted are tires, hazardous materials, paint or paint cans, household garbage, and brush and yard waste.

Those who want to participate should bring proof of residence.

The Proctorville and Chesapeake-Union Township fire departments are assisting in the cleanup efforts and will accept donations.
