Shoplifting suspect found with meth in his underwear
HUNTINGTON — The following information was provided by reports from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office:
METH POSSESSION: A 28-year-old Huntington man was arrested Saturday after deputies found about 26 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine in his underwear after he was stopped for shoplifting at Walmart in Huntington.
Brandon Lee Webb is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute and misdemeanor shoplifting, according to reports from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were already at the store for an unrelated matter around 1:30 p.m. Saturday when employees stopped a man and a woman suspected of shoplifting around $30 worth of clothing, reports state.
Deputies searched the man, who pulled from his underwear a plastic bag containing 25.71 grams of a clear crystal substance. Just over $550 cash was also found on the suspect.
Webb was arrested and transported to Western Regional Jail on at $50,200 bond. The woman was cited for shoplifting and released.

DUI, no insurance, warrant service, 4:09 p.m. Sunday, 14th Street/4th Avenue. Noise complaint, 11:27 p.m. Saturday, 2100 block of Buffington Avenue.
Possession of a controlled substance, malicious assault, 3:20 a.m. Sunday, 1200 block of 28th Street.

Ronald Lee Frye II, 27, was jailed at 7:15 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with being a fugitive from justice. Bond was not set.
Adam Shawn Adkins, 34, was jailed at 8 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him with malicious wounding and nighttime burglary. Bond was $20,000.
Shawn Paul Angel, 45, was jailed at 5:50 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him with grand larceny, burglary, conspiracy and destruction of property. He was also jailed on an active family court warrant. Bond was not set.
Ethan Daune Hicks, 18, was jailed at 5:50 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him with conspiracy, burglary, destruction of property and grand larceny. He was also jailed on an active warrant. Bond was not set.
Jonathan Dewayne Wilson, 30, was jailed at 3:30 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with being a fugitive from justice. Bond was not set.
