KANSAS CITY (AP) _ Dean Grillo and J.F. Quintin scored two goals each Monday night as the Kansas City Blades beat the Soviet Wings 7-2 in the International Hockey League.

Kansas City (16-15-2) opened the scoring at 1:48 on Quintin's seventh goal of the year. Ken Hammon made it 2-0 at 7:24 and Jan Calhoun, with his 20th of the year, gave Kansas City a 3-0 lead at 13:24.

Grillo got his sixth of the season at 12:40 to stretch the Kansas City lead to 4-0 and, 20 seconds later, Chris Tancill made it 5-0 with his 20th of the season.

After Vitali Tomilin's goal made it 5-1, Quintin scored at 16:37 to restore the five-goal cushion. Dimitri Gogolev's goal 7 seconds before the end of the period pulled the Soviet Wings to within 6-2.

Grillo got the lone goal of the third period, at 11:43.
