WVC LACROSSE ROUNDUP: Jardine’s 4 Goals Lead Comets Past Crusaders

Helenda Jardine scored four goals and four other Comets scored twice in a 15-3 win over Coughlin on Tuesday.

Emily Roberts, Julia Rose and Jill Taleroski each had four-point games with two goals and two assists. Kelsey Kulak also scored twice.

The Comets improve to 5-8 and strengthens their hold on the seventh spot in the District 2 Class 2A power rankings.

Jolene Ulichney scored twice for Coughlin.

At Hazleton Area, Dallas spotted the host Cougars the first goal before reeling off 11 straight.

Lauren Delamater finished the game with seven goals, while Shannon Barrett scored five, all in the first half.

Grace Young had a pair of assists and Bailey Slacktish made eight saves in goal.

Jordan Minzola, Mackenzie Rockovish and Riley Hudock had goals for the Cougars.

On Monday, the Mountaineers got six goals from Lauren Delamater as they built a 13-1 halftime lead en route to the win.
