State police blotter: Dec. 6

Driver injured

Shawn Clark, 39, Apollo, was injured Monday morning when his tractor-trailer traveled off Pleasant Hill Road, north of Stutzmantown Road, in Somerset Township after he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle rolled over onto its driver’s side, according to state police. The tanker leaked diesel fuel into a cornfield.

Clark was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, police said. Police were assisted by the Listie fire department and Somerset EMS.

Utility vehicle stolen

State police are investigating a theft from a residence along Bollinger Road in Addison Township Nov. 10-24.

The items taken were a Sharp Aquos smart television, valued at $300, and a Yamaha Viking YXC700 side-by-side, valued at $13,000. The Yamaha is blue.

No force was used to enter the residence, state police said. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 814-445-4104.

Mailbox damaged

Someone damaged Karen Gerhard Morgan’s mailbox along West Mud Pike in Milford Township Sunday, according to state police.

Decorations damaged

Someone knocked over Rockwood Borough-owned Christmas decorations Sunday or Monday along Market Street, according to state police.
