MEMPHIS, Tenn. _ There were about 50 or more people who came to The CMPLX in Orange Mound the night of Feb. 8 to view the work of community photographers in the city — a relatively new art gallery that has arrived in the community and is looking to uplift nearby residents through art. The exhibit titled “PHTGRPHS” featured the work of local photographers Lester Merriweather and Lawrence Matthews through a local non-profit art group called The Collective.
