‘Be too cool to Juul’
A group of about 65 youths gathered along the intersection of Philip and Dewey streets for a Wednesday rally.
The group was part of the 2019 Lincoln County Youth Leadership training camp hosted by Community Connections.
“We are advocating against underage vaping, specifically in schools,” said Logan Elliott, youth leadership development coordinator with Community Connections. “It’s a two-day camp and the rally is the conclusion of the first day.”
The youths held up signs and items they made, demonstrating their belief that underage vaping is bad.
They chanted and waved their signs as the traffic drove by them.
