LONDON (AP) — Last season's beaten finalist Liverpool will start its English League Cup campaign with a second-round fixture at second-tier Burton Albion.

The cup draw on Wednesday also handed Chelsea — under new manager Antonio Conte — a home match against either Bristol Rovers or Bristol City while Everton, with Ronald Koeman in charge, will host fourth-tier Yeovil.

Other fixtures involving Premier League clubs will see Watford face Gillingham, Crystal Palace host Blackpool and Stoke travel to Stevenage.

Luton's reward for a 3-1 first-round victory over Aston Villa, which was relegated from the top-flight last season, is a game against Leeds United.

The matches will be played during the week starting Aug. 22.

The seven Premier League clubs playing in Europe will join the competition in the third round.
