Grand Rapids 103, Omaha 100
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ Darren Henrie hit a 3-pointer with one second left Thursday night to give the Grand Rapids Hoops a 103-100 victory over the Omaha Racers in Game 5 of the CBA finals.
Omaha leads the best-of-7 series 3-2, with Game 6 Saturday night in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Omaha led 100-95 with 1:30 left when Henrie hit a 3-pointer to make it 100-98. Gerald Madkins’ layup with 35 seconds left tied the game 100-100.
Henrie finished with 17 points for the Hoops, all but two coming on five 3- pointers in 11 attempts. Henrie had a championship-series record nine 3- pointers in a 119-111 loss on Tuesday night.
Rod Mason led the Racers with 25 points. Marcus Kennedy topped the Hoops with 23 points and 15 rebounds.
