Belle Fourche man injured in crash

SPEARFISH — A Belle Fourche man received serious but non-life threatening injuries Wednesday evening when he was involved in a single vehicle crash.

According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, Daniel Ramsdell, 61, was traveling west on West Highway 14 a half mile west of Spearfish around 7:45 p.m. when he ran off the road and went airborne in a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500. The vehicle became airborne over a field approach and rolled multiple times.

Ramsdell was transported to Spearfish Regional Hospital. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

Charges are pending and the South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
