Storm warning: Huntington, Wabash

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Huntington and Wabash counties until 5 p.m.

At 4:09 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was over Wabash, moving east at 35 mph, the weather service said. It said 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail are possible with this storm.

Locations in the path of the storm include Huntington, Wabash, Andrews, Markle, Warren, Lagro, Mount Etna, Servia, Lincolnville, Plum Tree, Treaty, Majenica and Pleasant Plain. This includes Interstate 69 between mile markers 274 and 289.

The weather service recommends moving to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
