Orchids and Onions: Sunday, April 7, 2019

April 7, 2019

Another beautiful day in Havasu...

Orchids to our Mail Carrier Dustin! He has 100% accuracy, and friendly too. Not everyone with the US Post Office makes mistakes.

Onions to the owner for not honoring the offer of buy one, get one at 99 cents. Poor kid at the register taking all the heat from unhappy customers because the owner chose to discontinue the offer early!

Orchids to Dr. Manu Lonial. My husband and I have both been seeing him for a year now. He truly cares for his patients. He is on top of referrals, listens, He always gets us in. He is the best doctor we have ever seen. His staff, Ashley and Diana, are sweet girls. Glad we found a great doctor after moving here rural Colorado.

Onions to the onion about weeds in yards. Stop complaining and enjoy the color for a few months because the rest of the year will be brown and hot. And by the way they are called wild flowers.

Orchids to Bill at Lowes. He is the first person to actually come up to us and ask if we needed help. He then took us to the mailboxes and showed us what was available and all that was needed to install it. Great customer service!

Onions to all you criers about the Canadian Air Force and what you perceive as noise. Try living in a metropolitan area with an international airport and listen to the commercial aircraft nearly 24/7. Add to that the military jets from the same airport. Plus numerous reliever airports in the suburbs.

Orchids to Matt and the staff at Anderson Toyota. You have restored faith in the system. Thank you for the follow through and fixing a major (to us) problem. K and N

Onions to the former state legislator who believes he is above the law. Do the crime, do the time.
