MOSCOW (AP) _ Russian President Boris Yeltsin, who has been recuperating from an ulcer for almost three weeks, will be released from the hospital today, the president's spokesman said.

Yeltsin, 68, has suffered a series of ailments in recent years, and has been at the Central Clinical Hospital since Feb. 27.

Presidential spokesman Dmitry Yakushkin said Yeltsin would be discharged later today, the Interfax news agency reported. No additional details were immediately available.
