Lackawanna County Sentencings 12/26/2018

President Judge Michael Bar­rasse sentenced the following defendants recently in Lacka­wanna County Court:

Travis Matthews, 39, 5056 W. Maple Ave., Merchantville, New Jersey, four to 10 years in state prison, followed by six years’ probation, for possession with intent to deliver and possession of firearm prohibited.

Jose Rodriguez Rivera, 41, 375 Grove St., second floor, 16 months to three years in state prison, followed by two years’ probation, for criminal use of a communication facility.

Allison Kondrat, 32, 311 Colburn St., Clarks Summit, two to four years in state prison, followed by four years’ probation, for possession with intent to deliver and possession of contraband by an inmate.

Daejon Robinson, 16, 1018 Cooper St., Scranton, two years of court supervision, including two months in county prison and three months of house arrest, for simple assault.

Randy Olson, 63, 19 Osseo Trail, Gouldsboro, two months time served to one year in county prison and $163.40 in restitution for simple assault.

Mehul Patel, 24, 630 Adams Ave., Dunmore, to five years of court supervision, including six months’ house arrest, and a $1,500 fine for DUI — tier three, second offense.

Judge Vito Geruolo sentenced:

Kawan Jackson, 34, 604 Lori Drive, Archbald, to pay court costs for disorderly conduct.

Shyane Matthews, 20, 640 Detty St., Scranton, 18 months’ probation and $1,000 in restitution for theft by unlawful taking.

Judge Andy Jarbola sentenced:

John Joseph Perry, 44, 712 Alder St., Scranton, two to six years in state prison, followed by one year of probation, for access device fraud, securing execution documents by deception, theft of vehicle and identity theft.

Tyrone Dubose, 29, 1336 N. Washington Ave., Scranton, 11½ to 23 months in county prison for delivery of a controlled substance.

Adam Hunsinger, 34, 130 College Ave., P.O. Box 6, Factoryville, five years of court supervision, including three months in county prison, followed by six months of house arrest, and $2,500 in fines for DUI — tier three, third offense.

Sun Longo, 58, P.O. Box 103, Wrightsville, New Jersey, to six months’ probation for promoting prostitution.
