COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) _ Michelle Snow scored 24 points and Semeka Randall added 17 Friday night to lead No. 2 Tennessee to a 92-76 victory over South Carolina.

The Lady Vols used an 18-0 run midway through the first half to take a 34-10 lead. Snow scored 17 in the second half, including eight straight points during one stretch.

Tennessee (13-2, 3-0 Southeastern Conference) forced 28 turnovers and hit 57.6 percent of its shots.

South Carolina (10-5, 0-2) used an 12-2 run midway through the second half to close within 61-52 on a pair of free throws by Jocelyn Penn with 10:54 left.

The Lady Gamecocks had four fouls and three turnovers before they made their first field goal, a layup by Penn after 3:52. South Carolina finished the first half with 18 turnovers.

Kara Lawson finished with 16 points for the Lady Vols and Tamika Catchings had 14.

Penn came off the bench to lead South Carolina with 19 points. Shaunzinski Gortman scored 14, Kelly Morrone had 12 and Shannon Segres had 10.

Petra Ujhelyi had five blocked shots for South Carolina.
