Alabama teen has been shot and killed at a convenience store
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — An Alabama teen has died after a shooting at a convenience store.
News outlets reported that 18-year-old Censere Calhoun died Monday at UAB Hospital.
Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies said the shooting happened around 3 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of a convenience store. Chief Deputy Randy Christian said several shots were fired between two groups of people at the parking lot.
Deputies say at least one other person went to a hospital for treatment. There was no word on that person’s condition.
No arrests have been reported.
