East Loomis Street gets angled parking
Downtown Ludington could be getting more eight-hour on-street public parking.
Workers repainted the lines Tuesday morning for the parking spaces on the 100 block of West Loomis Street, between James Street and Rath Avenue, adding a total of four new spaces.
The seven parallel parking spots on the north side of Loomis Street have been repainted, and the 12 parallel spaces on the south side have been repainted and changed into 16 angled parking spaces. This on-street parking will also be changed from two-hour parking to eight-hour once the new signs are installed.
