KALAMOZOO, Mich. _ Jury selection is scheduled to begin Thursday in the case of an Uber driver charged with killing six people nearly three years ago in Michigan. Jason Dalton is charged with murder and attempted murder. He’s accused of shooting eight people in three locations in the Kalamazoo area in February 2016 while he was picking up riders for Uber. _ POLICE CRUISER-JOYRIDE: Authorities say a 17-year-old girl took a police cruiser on a joyride following a traffic stop in the early hours of New Year’s Day in western Michigan. Grand Rapids police say the girl was a passenger in a minivan that was pulled over about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday following a 911 call about a large fight nearby.

Joshua Langford missed the Northwestern game with an ankle injury, and his status for Saturday wasn’t known. This is a measuring-stick game for the Buckeyes (12-1, 2-0), who were picked eighth in the preseason media poll and have only been stressed in one game the last month.
