MFAH’s Glassell Studio School announces student art sale

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, has announced its annual Glassell Studio School Student Art Sale, to be held Friday, Dec. 7, from 12 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Find unique holiday gifts at the popular annual sale. Guests can browse original works of art by students from the Glassell Studio School, including paintings, ceramics, prints, watercolors, drawings, jewelry, photographs, and more. A portion of the proceeds will be used toward Glassell Studio School scholarships. Admission is free.

Guests can enjoy the Studio School Student Art sale before it opens to the public on Friday, Dec. 7. Enjoy holiday refreshments while browsing original works of art. Tickets to the preview are $20 for adults and $18 for MFAH members, $10 for pages 13 to 18 and free for ages 12 and younger and for Glassell Student Alumni and Leadership Circle members and their guest.

MFAH also announced spring registration dates for Glassell School of Art courses for students of all skill levels and interests, ages three and up.

The Junior School (ages 3 to 18) opened spring registration for new students on Thursday, Nov. 29. For additional details and to view the course catalog, visit mfah.org/juniorschool.
