OKLAHOMA COUNTY-DISCRIMINATION LAWSUIT

OKLAHOMA CITY _ Oklahoma County has agreed to pay $175,000 to a former county employee who filed a lawsuit alleging that she faced age and racial discrimination. 250 words.

IN BRIEF:

BANKER INDICTED-SENTENCE _ The former president and CEO of a shuttered Oklahoma bank has been sentenced to four years in a federal prison and ordered to pay more than $137 million in restitution for making false statements.

SEVERE WEATHER-DISASTER AID _ Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin and the Cherokee Nation are asking the U.S. Small Business Administration for a disaster declaration to residents of Cherokee County affected by tornadoes, severe storms and strong winds on Nov. 30.

TRAIN DERAILMENT-OKLAHOMA _ Federal and state agencies are investigating the cause of a train derailment in southeastern Oklahoma.

GARTH BROOKS-MINNEAPOLIS _ Country superstar Garth Brooks says Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton is why he’s adding a second concert when he visits Minneapolis.

OKLAHOMA EARTHQUAKE _ A magnitude 3.0 earthquake has shaken parts of northwestern Oklahoma.

FIERY CRASH-INTERSTATE SHUT DOWN _ The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says one southbound lane of Interstate 35 and the right shoulder of the northbound side are open just south of Norman after a fiery crash closed the interstate to all traffic for about two hours.

KILLING BY POLICE-OKLAHOMA _ Authorities say a man was fatally shot by Oklahoma City police outside a convenience store on the city’s southwest side.
