Between 8:07 a.m. on March 1 and 7:51 a.m. on March 7, Portage police responded to 186 calls, including the following:

West Cook Street: Police at 12:05 a.m. on March 2 responded to a two-vehicle crash and cited John Leo Stoeklen, 42, of Amery, for failure to keep a motor vehicle under control.

West Carroll Street and Dunn Street: Police at 3:02 a.m. on March 2 cited Matthew J. Robson, 30, of Portage, for a seventh offense of operating after license suspension.

West Franklin Street: Police at 3:11 p.m. on March 3 referred a 10-year-old Portage male for disorderly conduct after a physical altercation.

West Wisconsin Street: Police at 8:49 p.m. on March 4 cited Caleb M. Marshall, 33, of Portage, for possession of THC.

West Wisconsin Street: Police at 7:01 a.m. on March 5 cited Doroteo Marcos Platas, 26, of Portage, for not having proof of insurance and an eighth offense of operating after license suspension.

West Edgewater Street: Police at 4:18 p.m. on March 5 responded to a report of five stolen DVD discs from Portage Public Library. The total replacement costs were listed at $125.

West Cook Street: Police at 7:53 a.m. on March 6 cited Donnesha L. Boyd, 22, of Muscoda, for a sixth offense of operating after license suspension, not having proof of insurance and non-registration of a vehicle.

Interstate 39: Police at 10:36 a.m. on March 6 cited Charles F. Smith, 30, of North Freedom, for a seventh offense of operating after license revocation. He told police he was driving to the Marquette County Courthouse.

West Wisconsin Street and Cemetery Road: Police at 7:01 p.m. on March 6 cited Ernest D. Moore, 25, of Milwaukee, for speeding, not having valid proof of insurance and a sixth offense of operating after license suspension.

New Pinery Road: Police at 7:02 p.m. on March 6 arrested Terry J. Buttke Jr., 37, of Portage, on two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, for possession of drug paraphernalia and concealed carry of a knife by a felon. A preliminary breath test indicated Buttke had a BAC of 0.284.

West Cook Street: Police at 7:51 a.m. on March 7 cited Jacob J. Schonenberger, 32, of Portage, for a 27th offense of operating after license revocation. He told police he had picked up his vehicle from Lodi at 1 a.m. that morning after receiving a prior citation for a similar violation.
