Idaho State’s Haylie Keck has been named the Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week after tallying 56 digs last week, including a career-high 38 digs last Tuesday against Weber State.

Keck is the first Idaho State player to win back-to-back player of the week awards since Lori Mendenhall achieved the feat in September 2012.

Keck also collected six assists and a service ace last week and posted a .971 serve receive percentage. She anchored a defense that limited opponents to a collective .168 hitting percentage.

ISU (11-8, 5-1 Big Sky) plays Thursday at Sacramento State.
