Humble ISD taps Crosby High principal to serve as deputy superintendent
Crosby High School Principal Terry Perkins will take become Deputy Superintendent for Humble ISD beginning this summer. He will take over for current Deputy Superintendent Roger Brown, who plans to retire sometime after this school year.
Perkins will finish the remainder of the school year as principal of CHS and officiate the graduation ceremony on May 31, CISD said in a statement.
His first day with Humble ISD will be June 1, according to a district spokesperson. Brown will help Perkins transition into the role over the summer before his retirement becomes official.
Perkins’ experience includes 21 years in education and 20 years of military service. Perkins has served as Crosby High School Principal since 2016. Prior to joining Crosby ISD, Perkins worked in Humble ISD as a teacher and administrator.
