Numerous vehicles damaged in criminal mischief cases in Pearland

Pearland police filed a dozen criminal mischief reports May 13 and 14 in the Southdown, Autumn Lake and South Hampton subdivisions. In several of the incidents, bricks or large rocks were used to break vehicle windows, police said.

Criminal mischief

An unknown person threw a large rock through the rear window of a parked vehicle May 12 or May 13 in the 1000 block of Melford Avenue, police said.

Criminal mischief occurred May 13 in the 2700 block of Hewn Rock Way, police said.

Police filed a criminal mischief report May 13 in the 2200 block of Glade Street.

Criminal mischief was reported May 13 in the 2100 block of Rose Road, police said.

Police filed a criminal mischief report May 13 in the 10200 block of Forest Spring Lane.

Criminal mischief was reported May 13 in the 10000 block of Hidden Falls Drive, police said.

A vehicle window was reported broken May 14 in the 2700 block of Hewn Rock Way, police said.

Vehicle damage was reported May 14 in the 2600 block of Fair Oak Street, police said.

A vehicle owner reported damage May 14 in the 2400 block of Appian Way, police said.

A brick was used to break a vehicle window May 13 or May 14 in the 2500 block of Fair Oak Street, police said.

Police filed criminal mischief reports May 14 in the 10000 and 10200 blocks of Forest Spring Lane.

Criminal mischief was reported May 14 in the 10100 block of Olive Mount Street, police said.

Burglary

Police filed a motor vehicle burglary report May 13 in the 1800 block of Pearland Parkway.

Motor vehicle burglary occurred May 9 in the 10000 block of Broadway Street, according to a May 13 police report.

A woman reported her apartment burglarized May 13 in the 2600 block of Old Alvin Road, police said.

Property was taken without the owner’s consent from a vehicle May 14 in the 2800 block of Pearland Parkway, police said.

A woman reported her vehicle burglarized May 14 in the 11500 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Burglary of a building was reported May 14 in the 2700 block of Manvel Road, police said.

Police filed a motor vehicle burglary report May 15 in the 1700 block of Main Street.

An unknown person broke a glass door and may have entered a building May 15 in the 3400 block of Broadway Street, police said. No items were reported missing.

An apartment was burglarized May 15 in the 11900 block of Shadow Creek Parkway, police said.

Police conducted a motor vehicle burglary investigation May 15 in the 2800 block of Business Center Drive.

A garage was burglarized May 17 in the 1000 block of North Sunset Drive, police said.

A handbag was stolen from a vehicle May 17 in the 10200 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Motor vehicle burglary occurred May 16, according to a police report filed May 18 in the 2300 block of Colleen Drive.

Motor vehicle burglary was reported May 18 in the 1400 block of Garden Glen Lane, police said.

Theft

A victim’s cell phone was stolen May 12 from a business in the 1900 block of Main Street, according to a May 13 police report.

Theft was reported May 14 in the 8300 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Police arrested a Pearland woman, 24, for shoplifting May 14 in the 1700 block of Broadway Street.

An employee stole cash from an employer May 12 or May 13 in the 11300 block of Broadway Street, according to a May 14 police report.

An unknown man stole beer May 14 from a store in the 2400 block of Main Street, police said.

A League City woman, 50, received a citation for shoplifting May 14 in the 1700 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Police cited a Houston woman, 51, for shoplifting May 14 in the 11100 block of Shadow Creek Parkway.

Theft occurred May 9 or May 10 in the 4500 block of Arnold Drive, according to a May 15 police report.

An enclosed trailer was stolen between May 10 and May 13 in the 16700 block of Texas 288, according to a May 15 police report.

Police conducted a shoplifting investigation May 15 in the 2800 block of Business Center Boulevard.

Theft was reported May 15 in the 1900 block of Main Street, police said.

Police filed a theft of service report May 15 in the 2800 block of Broadway Street.

A female complainant told police she paid for services not rendered, according to a report filed May 16 in the 5100 block of Camden Lane.

Theft was reported May 16 in the 4600 block of Ray Street, police said.

Police filed a shoplifting report May 16 in the 11200 block of Broadway Street.

A Dallas man, 30, was taken into custody for shoplifting May 17 in the 1900 block of Main Street, police said.

A juvenile took a parent’s vehicle without permission May 17 in the 3900 block of Spring Forest Drive, police said.

Theft from a mailbox occurred May 16 in the 4500 block of Kimball Drive, according to a May 17 police report.

Police filed a theft report May 17 detailing a $600 payment to paint the inside of a house May 9 or May 10 in the 2800 block of South Cedar Hollow Drive.

Shoplifting was reported May 17 in the 1900 block of Main Street, police said.

Two Houston men, ages 17 and 19, were detained for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle May 17 in the 15800 block of Texas 288, police said.

Theft of a motor vehicle was reported May 17 in the 3100 block of Cullen Parkway, police said.

Police conducted a shoplifting investigation May 18 in the 2700 block of Pearland Parkway.

A 26-year-old Beaumont woman was arrested for shoplifting and a warrant May 19 in the 11200 block of Broadway Street.

Robbery

Police conducted a robbery investigation May 16 in the 2500 block of Pearland Parkway.

Criminal instruments

Police took a Houston man, 43, and an Elizabeth, New Jersey, man, 38, into custody for unlawful use of a criminal instrument May 15 in the 2500 block of Main Street.

Police arrested two Pearland men, 21 and 22, for unlawful use of a criminal instrument May 17 in the 2900 block of Oak Road.

Fraud, forgery

Credit or debit card abuse occurred May 11, according to a police report filed May 13 in the 13900 block of Texas 288.

Credit card abuse occurred May 9, according to a police report filed May 15 in the 10000 block of Broadway Street.

A man cashed a forged check May 15 at Prosperity Bank in the 11400 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Police arrested a Pearland woman, 34, for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information May 16 in the 2500 block of South Washington Avenue.

Police completed an identity fraud report May 16 in the 3500 block of North Peach Hollow Circle.

A complainant’s identity was used to obtain a loan without his consent between May 14 and May 16, according to a police report filed in the 1800 block of Oak Lodge Drive.

Police filed an identity theft report May 16 in the 3200 block of Worthington Drive.

Identity theft occurred May 16, according to a police report filed May 17 in the 11300 block of Softbreeze Court.

Identity fraud occurred Dec. 5, 2018, according to a police report filed May 17 in the 2600 block of Lazy Bend Street.

Identity fraud was reported May 19 in the 1300 block of Modena Drive, police said.

Assault

Assault was reported May 13 in the 1300 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Police filed a family violence report May 14 in the 1900 block of Country Place Parkway.

A verbal disturbance was reported May 14 in the 2100 block of Scarsdale Boulevard, police said.

Police arrested a Hitchcock man, 28, for assault, family violence and criminal mischief May 14 in the 4300 block of Leisure Lane.

Police filed an assault, family violence report May 15 in the 1300 block of Silver Maple Lane.

A Pearland man, 54, was arrested for assault, family violence by threat May 15 in the 3200 block of Churchill Street, police said.

A male student assaulted another male student on the school bus May 16 or May 17, according to a police report filed May 17 in the 3700 block of Main Street.

A 49-year-old Pearland woman received a citation for assaulting another woman May 17 in the 3200 block of Three Sister Circle, police said.

A 31-year-old Houston woman was arrested for assault May 17 in the 16100 block of Texas 288, police said.

Family violence was reported May 17 in the 2000 block of Snow Pine Lane, police said.

Two individuals received citations after assault, family violence was reported May 17 in the 1700 block of Old Alvin Road, police said.

A Pearland man, 31, received a citation for assault May 18 in the 4400 block of Magnolia Oaks Drive, police said.

Family violence was reported May 18 in the 6500 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Threats, harassment

A student threatened a school between April 29 and May 13, according to a police report filed May 13 in the 2300 block of North Galveston Avenue.

Terroristic threat was reported May 13 in the 2700 block of Mystic Cove Lane, police said.

Two students made threatening comments via group text message between May 11 and May 13, according to a police report filed May 13 in the 2300 block of Old Alvin Road.

Police filed a terroristic threat report May 13 in the 5400 block of Camden Lane.

Harassment was reported May 14 in the 1900 block of Garden Road, police said.

Harassment occurred between May 8 and May 14, according to a police report filed May 14 in the 3600 block of Hilltop View Court.

A student made threats May 14 against Pearland Junior High West, 2337 N. Galveston Ave., police said.

Visual material involving sexual conduct was distributed without the subject’s permission between May 1 and May 16, according to a police report filed May 16 in the 2000 block of Business Center Drive.

Harassment was reported May 18 in the 3500 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Narcotics

A Katy man, 32, was arrested for marijuana possession May 13 in the 1000 block of Woodbridge Avenue, police said.

Police arrested a Pearland woman, 32, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a drug test falsification device May 14 in the 3400 block of Main Street. A Houston man, 42, was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and a warrant, police said.

A Pearland man, 37, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license invalid and failure to maintain financial responsibility May 14 in the 1100 block of Main Street, police said.

Police took a Pearland woman, 21, into custody for marijuana possession May 16 in the 2600 block of Reid Boulevard.

An Alvin woman, 40, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance May 17 in the 2700 block of Cullen Parkway, police said.

Police arrested a Clute man, 34, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana May 17 in the 3600 block of Business Center Drive.

A 17-year-old Pearland man was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia May 17 in the 3900 block of East Walnut Street, police said.

A Houston man, 28, was arrested for marijuana possession, driving while license invalid and a warrant May 18 in the 1800 block of Cullen Parkway, police said.

Police arrested a Pearland man, 21, for marijuana possession and warrants May 18 in the 11100 block of Shadow Creek Parkway.

A Baytown man, 30, was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and unlawfully carrying a weapon May 18 in the 3000 block of Business Center Drive, police said.

Police arrested a Houston woman, 27, for marijuana possession May 19 in the 8500 block of Hughes Ranch Road.

Police arrested a New Orleans man, 26, for possession of drug paraphernalia and no driver’s license May 19 in the 2700 block of Wagon Trail Road. A 27-year-old Houston man was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Driving while intoxicated

A Houston man, 39, was arrested for DWI and no driver’s license May 17 in the 4600 block of West Orange Street, police said.

Police arrested an Alvin man, 49, for DWI May 18 in the 4200 block of Dixie Farm Road.

Police took an Angleton man, 39, into custody for DWI May 19 in the 3100 block of Business Center Drive.

Public intoxication

Police arrested a Pearland man, 48, for public intoxication May 17 in the 7300 block of Broadway Street.

A Sugar Land man, 36, was arrested for public intoxication May 19 in the 3900 block of English Lake Drive, police said.

Tobacco

A student was charged with minor in possession of tobacco May 13 in the 4700 block of Bailey Road, police said.

Resisting, evading arrest

Police took a Pearland man, 26, into custody for criminal trespass and resisting arrest May 14 in the 11400 block of Grimes Avenue.

Failure to identify

A Pearland woman, 30, was cited for displaying a fake or fictitious temporary tag and taken into custody for failure to identify as a fugitive May 14 in the 3600 block of McHard Road, police said.

Police arrested a Houston man, 35, for failure to identify as a fugitive and a warrant May 18 in the 16600 block of Texas 288.

An Humble man, 24, was taken into custody for failure to identify as a fugitive, driving while license invalid and a warrant May 19 in the 1500 block of Cullen Parkway, police said.

Criminal trespass

Police arrested a Houston man, 37, for criminal trespass May 15 in the 6800 block of Old Oaks Boulevard.

A juvenile who earlier had received a criminal trespassing warning was found trespassing May 16 the 3500 block of Broadway Street, according to a May 17 police report.

Evidence tampering

Police arrested a Houston man, 35, for tampering with evidence May 16 in the 1700 block of Kirby Drive.

Weapons

Police arrested a San Antonio man, 34, for discharging a firearm from a vehicle and a warrant May 19 in the 4200 block of Broadway Street. A Houston man, 19, was arrested for possession of stolen property, and two Kingwood men, 26 and 28, were taken into custody for public intoxication, police said.

Traffic

Police arrested a Freeport man, 19, for no driver’s license and failure to maintain financial responsibility May 13 in the 6600 block of Broadway Street.

A Fresno man, 47, was arrested for driving while license invalid and a warrant May 19 in the 3500 block of Broadway Street, police said.
