SAN FRANCISCO (AP) _ Blacks, Hispanics and women can't be kept off juries as a group, but it's OK to exclude people whose last names begin with the letters W through Z.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 3-0 Wednesday that jurors at the end of alphabetical order do not constitute ''a recognizable and distinct class'' covered by court decisions barringprocessor bids.
