Norway’s Klemetsen Briefly Hospitalized
PRAGELATO, Italy (AP) _ Nordic combined athlete Havard Klemetsen of Norway fell during jump training Thursday and was briefly hospitalized as a precautionary measure.
He was treated and released in the afternoon. Team officials expected Klemetsen to resume power training Thursday night, and to take part in Normal Hill training Friday, according to Norwegian press manager Tom Dahl Froshaug. That’s if the weather allows training. High winds canceled some sessions Thursday.
The 26-year-old Klemetsen is no stranger to crashes on the hill. He has broken his arm three times in the past 10 years.
