Police: Bridgeport man sold cocaine to undercover Stamford cop
STAMFORD — Officers arrested a Bridgeport man Saturday for allegedly selling cocaine to an undercover police officer.
Cedric Powell, 51, was charged with the sale of illegal narcotics.
According to Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin, Powell has been arrested numerous times in Stamford and has a lengthy criminal arrest record.
Stamford’s Narcotics and Organized Crime unit had been investigating him and conducted a sting in February, in which Powell allegedly sold cocaine to an undercover officer.
